APRIL 21-27, 2019. I’m partnering with my dear friend Chicca who teaches cooking classes from the kitchen of her restored 18th century Tuscan farmhouse. Immerse yourself in food and wine of the Italian countryside, and learn to cook family recipes (fresh pastas, gnocchi, meatballs, and more!) using seasonal and local ingredients.
Come to know and love your new country by delving into its food, culture, and history on a 4-hour culinary tour in partnership with Foods of Copenhagen. Mingle with fellow expats over the city’s best drinks and dishes, and connect with people who understand your experience.
Each week, I turn one piece of crowd-sourced wisdom into a visual treat. The goal is to gather a bank of food wisdom that spans many languages, religions, races, and cultures so we can all learn from each other.
